Psalm 119:105 (NKJV) says: “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Our children and the youth of the world need Christ’s light more than they need anything else. This Christmas season, I’m continuing to pray for revival and a great spiritual awakening among the younger generation.
LORD,
Thank You for being a light for the youth to follow. Help the children of the world and the younger generation turn to You as their Savior. Revive the hearts of countless young people around the world. Bring millions of souls into Your kingdom in the days and months ahead.
Help our sons and daughters live in Your light. Help them to live fully surrendered to You each day of their lives. Give them the desire to seek You wholeheartedly through prayer and reading the Bible. Let them turn to You for guidance and strength. Teach them to trust You and know You deeper every day. Surround them with a wall of protection and watch over them always. Let Your word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path. I pray in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

There are countless sons and daughters who grew up knowing Christ, loving Him as children. Yet they chose to turn away from God as they grew into adults. The story of the prodigal son (Luke 15:11-32) is encouraging and reveals the radical love of our HEAVENLY FATHER. God’s love is relentless, and He always receives the rebellious ones with open arms.
This year, I have been sensing in my spirit that the prodigal sons and daughters are beginning to be awakened spiritually. I believe that they are being drawn by the FATHER’S love and will be returning to the Lord with a greater zeal than they’ve ever had before.
Let’s pray passionately for the prodigal sons and daughters to be set free from destructive paths and pray fervently for them to be the ones that bring the greatest changes in our world.
LORD,
Thank You for Your love, mercy, and grace. Thank You for pouring out Your Spirit upon all of the sons and daughters who have turned away from You. Destroy the works of darkness that have attempted to thwart Your good plans for their lives. Help them to turn away from destructive paths and live faithfully by Your Spirit. Open their spiritual eyes and help them to see that You are the way, truth, and life.
Draw them into Your loving arms and hold them close to Your heart. Give them a powerful revelation of Your love and bring them back to a relationship with You. Help them to feel Your presence continually and heal every hurting place in their hearts. Give them the desire to grow closer to You and follow You all the days of their lives.
Baptize the prodigal sons and daughters with Your Holy Spirit and let them draw near to You every day. Help them become mighty warriors for Your kingdom and be shining examples of Your transforming power. Help them to be the strong men and women of God they are called to be. Help them to stay focused on You and follow Your guiding voice every day. Let them be pure in Your sight and be used by You to bring the greatest changes in our world. I pray in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

On this Pentecost Sunday, I am filled with awe of Christ and praying for a great move of the Holy Spirit that will bring permanent change for the youth of our world.
My heart has been hurting for the ones affected by the recent tragedies in America. I am filled with a deep compassion for the ones who lost their beloved children and family members in such a horrific way. While I had tears when I heard about the loss of innocent children, I felt tremendous hope in the Lord to bring beauty into the chaos.
Christ is truly the hope for our country and world. Evil can only be overcome with the truth and power of Christ’s love. With a heart filled with faith, I’m continuing to cry out to God for an unprecedented outpouring of His Spirit.
In the Bible verse, Acts 2:17, it says: “In the last days,God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people; your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.”
For many years, I’ve prayed passionately for the Lord to pour out His Spirit upon our cities. On this Pentecost Sunday and in the coming days, I believe the Spirit of God will be poured out in such a significant way that it will be like a blast of dynamite being ignited. The church will never be the same.
This outpouring will spark a Jesus movement like we’ve never seen before. Those ready to receive more of the Holy Spirit will be empowered to do great things for Christ. The ones who are too busy with earthly endeavors will possibly miss what’s coming. There will be naysayers who will say this is not from God, but in due time they will see that this is genuinely the outpouring that the prophet of the Bible, Joel, prophesied (Joel 2:28-32).
We are a very blessed generation to be alive when God is rocking the world with the greatest revival in the history of mankind.
Let’s pray more fervently than ever before and trust Christ to bring forth a JESUS REVOLUTION that will begin changing our broken world.
Dear Heavenly Father,
I am in absolute awe of You. Thank You for hearing our prayers and pouring out Your Spirit upon the earth. I trust You to ignite a JESUS REVOLUTION this Pentecost Sunday that will begin to break the chains of hatred and evil off of our cities.
I am asking You to wrap Your loving arms around the ones who lost their beloved children and family members in recent tragedies. Comfort their hurting hearts and carry them through the painful moments of grief. Bring healing to their souls in the days ahead.
Awaken the CHURCH fully and help us pray more fervently than ever before. Bring forth the most powerful prayer movement among mothers to pray for the youth of the world to be saved.
Help believers in Christ to be unified and have strong voices against the wicked injustices in our communities. Bring peace to the areas in our world that are experiencing civil unrest. Stop the violence that’s happening in America currently. Bring unity among the people in our communities and let us love one another with Your perfect love.
Empower us with a greater measure of Your Spirit and help us do great things on the earth all the days of our lives. Baptize us in the Holy Spirit and let each one of us be used mightily to share the gospel message of Jesus Christ. Let us be peacemakers and help us bring change to the world until the day of Christ’s return. I pray in Christ’s name. Amen.
May you have a blessed Pentecost season and may your heart be open to receive all that Christ has for you. I pray that you will be filled with Holy Ghost fire and be a world-changer in the coming days.

This post is a revised piece that I wrote and posted previously.
Sometimes a person can be sleeping so soundly that it seems nearly impossible to wake them up. During my son’s teen years, he was not easily awakened in the morning. As I tried to wake him by gently tapping on his shoulder, he would grunt and then fall back to sleep. After trying to gently awaken him several times without success, I would bring our very energetic dog, Zoe, into my son’s room. With Zoe jumping on my son’s bed and licking his face, he was abruptly awakened unexpectedly. The memory of waking my son from his deep slumber reminds me of the difficulty of awakening the people who are spiritually asleep.
I believe that there has never been a more important time than now for God’s people to be fully awake. The CHURCH is beginning to arise. However, there are many believers in Christ who are not fully awakened. Many are still living without a sense of urgency for the need of persistent prayer.
We are living in desperate times that require desperate prayers. We don’t need to be afraid. But we need to be alert and fully awake so that we’re prepared for the coming changes in the world. Otherwise, we may become awakened abruptly and quickly in an uncomfortable way.
As I wrote in a previous post, the Lord spoke words to my heart about the future changes. I heard these words in my heart: “Human systems are being broken down so that kingdom systems can be built.” In other words, God is tearing down the systems that are not of His kingdom. As I pondered those words, I thought about the disappointment of people that have placed their hope in the systems built by men. The upcoming days, months, and years will be very disappointing for people who are not spiritually awake and surrendered fully to Christ.
There are signs revealing that Christ’s return could possibly be within a few years. It’s time to shine Christ’s light brighter than ever. It’s time to partner with Christ to help bring a multitude of souls into His kingdom. It’s time to pray with fervency like never before.
Jesus is coming back. Are you ready?
LORD,
Thank You for loving us perfectly. Thank You for pouring out Your Spirit and filling our nation with Your glory. We come to You and humbly repent of the sins that hinder us from doing Your will for our lives. Wake us up from our spiritual slumber and help us live every moment fully awakened in Christ. Awaken us completely and help us keep our eyes continually focused upon You. Help us take our eyes off of the trivial things of this world and let us do the work You’ve called us to do while on the earth. Use us to lead people to Your saving grace and use us to bring hope to people in desperate need. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
My heart yearns for the Lord to return to this broken world and defeat evil. Until Christ returns, I will continue to pray passionately for His perfect will to come forth on the earth.
I trust Jesus with all my heart, and I will not give up praying for evil to be defeated. What an awesome day it will be when all evil is gone forever. Hallelujah.

Thank You for being the ONE who makes all things new. Thank You for being our helper in times of trouble. Thank You for being our peace-giver. Thank You for the countless times You have moved mountains that seemed impossible to move. Thank You for being our eternal protector and comforter. You are the calming peace among every storm of life. You are everything we need.
I am lifting up the innocent people of Ukraine to You in prayer. Let the Ukrainian people look to You as their refuge and source of strength. Fill them with hope and peace. Protect the children and civilians as they are seeking to find a safe place.
Keep Your hand upon their nation and bring an end to the violence there. Send an army of angels to defeat the evil forces. Bring the leaders to their knees and let them be guided by Your Holy Spirit so that peace will come forth. Pour out Your Spirit in an unprecedented way and bring revival to God’s people in Ukraine. Let miracles come forth out of the devastation. Let the body of Christ continue to arise in fervent prayer until we see Your kingdom come and Your will be done on the earth as it is in HEAVEN. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

I believe the greatest joy we can experience in life comes from knowing that our children are walking in God’s truth. 3 John 4 says: “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.” When our sons and daughters are thriving in the truth of God’s ways, our hearts are filled with elation like no other.
With the spiritual battles of this present age, our sons and daughters need our prayers more than ever before. Let’s continue praying for our children and the entire generation of youth to walk in truth every day.
As we pray in faith, Christ will bring forth amazing miracles and birth a revival in the younger generation that will be like nothing we have ever seen before.

Thank You for loving our children more than we do. Help us to be good parents that always love unconditionally and let us release our children into Your hands every day.
I am asking You to meet every need of our sons and daughters. Help them to always walk in the truth and live by faith. Americans will forever remember September 11, 2001. Nearly 3,000 lives were lost in the horrific attacks by terrorists. On this 20th anniversary of that devastating day, I’ve been praying and pondering the memories of the tragedy.
My prayer is that the believers in Christ will unite and pray in unity for God to protect our country and other nations from these evil acts of terror.
Jesus Christ is the world’s only hope. The terrorists need the salvation of Jesus. Every human on the face of the earth needs to encounter Christ and be saved.
Let’s pray continually for America and pray passionately for a worldwide revival that will bring forth the salvation of billions of souls around the world.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your never-ending mercy and grace. Help us to never forget the heroes of this country and let us remember the ones who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
Bless and comfort those who are mourning. Bring healing to the ones who have been deeply traumatized.
Protect America from future acts of terrorism and keep Your hand upon our country. Help Americans to be a strong group of united people and let us be an undivided nation. Strengthen us and empower us to walk in unity with one another.
Let the CHURCH in America turn away from complacency and return to You wholeheartedly. Help all of God’s people to pray consistently for the nations of the world to be protected from terrorists. Help us stand boldly in faith and trust You to restore our nation.
Bring forth the most powerful prayer movement and revival that the world has ever seen. Let billions of people be saved around the world in the months and years ahead. I pray in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Revival begins in humble hearts and spreads like fire. The power of God’s Spirit is spreading like wildfire throughout the earth as we are praying for the greatest Jesus movement of all time to awaken the hearts of countless people.
In my heart, I hear God saying, “I am pouring My Spirit on those that are seeking Me with all of their hearts. I will anoint those who humble themselves completely.”
With all the turmoil in our world, prayer is more important now than any other time in history. I trust our Lord to make our communities stronger than ever as we pray passionately for spiritual awakening. I trust Christ to deliver the youth in our cities from violence, addictions, suicide, school shootings, gang activity, racism and all the epidemics that are destroying the lives of many souls.
God is on the move. This movement will gain momentum as we continue to pray.
Please join me in praying for more and more lives to be awakened, revived, and saved. Countless miracles will happen as we pray for the younger generation to be filled with the fire and power of the Holy Spirit.
With an expectation for even more to come, I want to share a few of the prayers that I have written through the past decade. I hope you will come into agreement with my prayers.
Beloved Jesus,
Thank You for what You are doing in my church and other churches around America. The atmosphere is changing in my church and I see that revival has begun. People are turning to You in their brokenness and it is a beautiful thing to watch. Jesus, pour Your Spirit onto my church and the other congregations in Atlanta. Let us be a forerunner in the reviving of America. Let the flames of Your Spirit consume our hearts. Let all the people who come to our churches sense Your presence and Your love. Make us a strong group of people, fully awakened by Your Spirit. Purify the hearts of Your people, Lord. Make us ready for Your return. Oh how I love You, Jesus. I pray in Your name. Amen.

Thank You for Your marvelous love and for Your light that floods out all darkness. I praise You for what you are doing on this earth. I lift up the body of Christ to You today. I pray that each one who calls himself a Christian will truly submit his heart to You. I pray that each believer will be drawn to Your goodness and grace. I pray that Your Spirit will permeate the churches in this country. Lord, let Your light snuff out all the darkness that has tried to invade the church.
Jesus, we need true revival to come to every heart. Revive the hearts of Your people. Help the church stand strong and make a bold statement for the world to see. Let us be strong and mighty people who bring light to the world.
Jesus, our country needs You desperately. Come and rescue our cities with a great move of Your Spirit. Send Your anointing power like never before. Prepare the hearts of the people to receive the outpouring of Your Spirit. I’m waiting with great expectation for the work You are going to do. Thank You for Your unfailing love, for the way You continually pour out Your mercy and grace. Thank You for the way You gently show us the things in our hearts that are not good. Jesus, thank You for purifying our hearts, for removing every thing that hinders us from walking closely with You. Thank You for what You are doing in the body of Christ. Oh how beautiful it is! I feel it in my spirit: Revival is about to break out in a big way in the body of believers here in the Atlanta area. Keep pouring Your Spirit into the hearts of the people who are fully seeking You. We (the body of Christ) want more of You. We want You to work in and through us in unimaginable ways. We want thousands upon thousands to be saved in our city due to the massive outpouring of Your Spirit. I am waiting for You with great expectation to do mighty things in the churches in my area. I have visions of people falling at Your feet, weeping in repentance, craving Your love, wanting more of You. Jesus, show the world who You are. Show them Your radical love. Speak to the hearts of all the people who call You, “Lord.” Let each of them come to know You deeply and intimately.
Raise us up to be the church You want for us to be. Jesus, make us ready for Your return, without a blemish or stain. Let us be a church who loves You fully and loves each other perfectly. Let each follower of You be so focused on You that they would not look to each other, but only to You. Let Your perfect unity and love rule in the hearts of all Your followers. I am ready to see You do great and marvelous things in my city. I love You, Jesus, with all my heart. I pray in Your name. Amen.

Thank You for being the greatest joy of life. Thank You for being the one who restores. Thank You for healing every hurt and making us whole. Thank You for speaking words of love and guidance into our hearts. You are the answer to all of life’s problems. I pray for every person who has not found life in You. Jesus, bring revival to this world. Ignite a fire in the young people of our cities and countries. Thank You for Your amazing grace and mercy. I ask You to fill our country with Your glory and let us be a bright light to a dark world. Let us live surrendered to You as men and women of God. Protect us from calamity and help our nation to thrive. I trust You to do great and mighty things in our country. Make us a strong nation and let America be a blessing to people all around the world.
I ask You to pour out Your Spirit in an unprecedented way in the days and months ahead. Pour out the latter rain and let it be a much greater glory than any other time in history. Let a spirit of unity fall upon the church to replace a spirit of dissension. Let the church walk in love toward each other and walk in authority all over the planet EARTH. Pour out Your Spirit upon Your sons and daughters and upon all flesh. Surround our leaders with a wall of Your Holy Spirit fire so that every weapon or curse formed against them will be burned up forever. Let all the leaders be filled with a greater measure of Your anointing power.
Let a great revival be powerfully ignited this week. Let signs, wonders, and miracles come forth like no man has ever seen before. Most important of all, let us prepare the way for the second coming of Christ and let Your kingdom come ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN. I love You with all my heart andplace my hope in You alone. I pray in Christ’s name. Amen.
After years and years of praying for revival in the church, it’s truly amazing to watch it unfold. A great awakening is happening and will soon shake the world like never before.
“We need a JESUS REVOLUTION!” I sank into my chair with a timid feeling after I shouted those words while hundreds of young people were singing a worship song at Passion City Church (Atlanta, Georgia). I will never forget that night in the summer of 2011. Up until that point, I had not ever shouted as passionately during church, so I was embarrassed, until Pastor Louie Giglio began preaching a sermon about the necessity for believers in Christ to be filled with zeal and passion. My embarrassment lifted immediately as I listened to the sermon about zealously living for Christ, and I knew that my urge to shout had been prompted by the Holy Spirit.
Two years before that night, I attended a worship service at Passion City Church for the first time. In 2009, as a middle-age woman, I sat in a sea of college students, and I was fixated on one word: “REVIVAL.” With my spiritual eyes, I could see the beginning of a true spiritual awakening. In the following years, I had a dream in my sleep about a great revival, and it confirmed to me that what I had been sensing was truly from God.
Around the same time period, I was reading about Pentecost in the Bible. I began to envision a true movement of God similar to the stories in the book of Acts. I envisioned people getting healed of diseases, the blind getting their vision back, and chains of addiction being broken. Most importantly, I envisioned people weeping in repentance.
As the years passed by, the seeds of revival increased as the PASSION CONFERENCES took place each year with thousands of young people meeting together. Multitudes of these youthful ones were touched by Jesus, and I believe these gatherings helped ignite a movement that has led to the beginning of a great spiritual awakening.
With more than a decade of watching God move, I’ve prayed passionately for an unprecedented great awakening to be ignited—a Jesus movement that will impact the world by bringing forth a harvest of saved souls. For years, I’ve prayed that the greatest movement of the Holy Spirit we’ve ever seen would begin and spread like wildfire throughout the U.S. and spread to all the nations of the world.
This week, as I’ve been pondering the significance of Pentecost, I suddenly remembered a vision I had in 2010. A decade ago, I had envisioned our HEAVENLY FATHER in His glorious splendor with white hair, standing above a beautiful river with a dam above it. In my spirit, I heard these words: “The dam is about to break.” At the time, I wrote the words in my journal and I shared about my vision with my husband. I sensed that what I had envisioned was a symbol of the mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit that would be taking place in the future.
Year after year, I have longed to see an unmatched outpouring of the Holy Spirit. For many years, I have thought it would happen on Pentecost Sunday.
Here’s a prayer I wrote on May 24, 2018.
Jesus,
Thank You for pouring out Your Holy Spirit upon our nation. I ask You to release a move of Your Spirit across this nation like we have never seen before. Remove all the hindrances and open up the floodgates of heaven. Let every false prophet repent or let them be taken out of leadership. Bring forth countless new leaders to lead the body of Christ. Let Your Spirit rule and reign in the churches of America. Let stadiums be filled up with Your glory and let millions of souls be saved. Let Pentecost season of 2018 and 2019 far exceed what we read about in the book of Acts. Thank You, Jesus. I pray in Your name, Christ. Amen.
A few days after I remembered the vision, I heard the Lord clearly say: “The dam will break on Pentecost Sunday.” When a dam breaks, it floods everywhere in the vicinity and the water rushes all throughout the land powerfully. The dam breaking means that God’s Spirit will be poured out like it never has been poured out any time before.
I believe that’s what will begin happening on Pentecost Sunday and it will continue to intensify throughout the Pentecost season and keep intensifying until Christ returns to the earth. The Spirit of God will be poured out in such a significant way that it will be like a blast of dynamite being ignited. The church will never be the same.
This outpouring will spark a Jesus movement like we’ve never seen before. Those ready to receive more of the Holy Spirit will be empowered to do great things for Christ. The ones who are too busy with earthly endeavors will possibly miss what’s coming. Those who are trapped in sin need to repent to be able to experience this glorious outpouring.
There will be naysayers who will say this is not from God, but in due time they will see that this is genuinely the outpouring that the prophet of the Bible, Joel, prophesied (Joel 2:28-32).
We are a truly blessed generation.

I ask You to bring peace to the areas in our world that are experiencing civil unrest. I ask You to stop the violence that’s happening in America currently. Bring peace among the races and let us love one another with Your perfect love.
Empower us to do great things on the earth. Let each one of us be used mightily to bring forth the gospel message of Jesus Christ. Let us be peacemakers and help us to bring change to the world until the day of Christ’s return. I pray in Christ’s name. Amen.

Many years ago, I began feeling very burdened in my spirit for America and the direction it was heading. I sensed the only answer to our problems would be a great movement of the Holy Spirit and a true spiritual awakening in the lives of multitudes of people.
As I prayed, I began to envision a map of the United States with flames around it and bright light coming out of it.
It felt as though God was saying: The U.S. is called to be the light of the world.
The thought of our country being the light of the world brought so much excitement to my soul. It gave me a fiery passion to pray for an outpouring of the Spirit that would change the atmosphere of America and ultimately impact the world with Christ’s glory and light.
In Matthew 3:11, we are told that John the Baptist was preaching a message and saying: “As for me, I baptize you with water for repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, and I am not fit to remove His sandals; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.” Just as I envisioned the flames of fire around the map of America, I imagined the flames of the Holy Spirit consuming millions of souls and drawing them into the kingdom of God.
I wrote the following prayer in June, 2011. I want to share it again and hope you all will join me in praying passionately for the greatest outpouring of the Holy Spirit the world has ever seen.
Dear Heavenly Father,

I have visions of people falling at Your feet, weeping in repentance, craving Your love, wanting more of Your Holy Spirit. Please show the world who You are. Show every hurting person Your radical love. Speak to the hearts of all the people who call You, “LORD.” Let every believer know You deeply and intimately. Raise us up to be the church You want for us to be. Make us ready for Christ’s return, without a blemish or stain. Let us be a church who loves You wholeheartedly and loves each other perfectly. Let each follower of You be so focused on You that we would not look to each other, but only to You. Let Your perfect unity and love rule in the hearts of all Your followers. We are ready to see You do great and marvelous things in our cities. We love You with all our strength and we pray in Christ’s name. Amen.
