Many years ago, I began feeling very burdened in my spirit for America and the direction it was heading. I sensed the only answer to our problems would be a great movement of God—a true revival and spiritual awakening in the lives of multitudes of people. In 2010 as I was praying, I began to envision a map of the United States with flames around it and bright light coming out of it. As I envisioned the flames of fire around the map of America, I sensed great difficulties were coming to our nation. Along with the coming trials, I believe the flames in my vision were a symbol of the Holy Spirit consuming millions of souls and drawing them into the kingdom of God.
While I envisioned bright light coming out of America, I realized the image in my mind symbolized the church in the fullness of Christ’s light.
After I sought the Lord in that season, I began sensing that the U.S. is called to be the light of the world.
The thought of our country being the light of the world brought so much excitement to my soul. It gave me a fiery passion to pray for an outpouring of God’s Spirit that would change the atmosphere of America and ultimately impact the world with Christ’s glory and light.
I believe wholeheartedly that God will pour out His Spirit in a greater way than ever before. I believe there is a remnant of God’s people who are fully prepared for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and they will be used to release the glory of God into the earth realm. However, the believers in Christ who have not fully yielded to Him will be undergoing more refinement. The Lord will sit as a refiner and purifier of His CHURCH so that she will be filled with His righteousness (Malachi 3:3). In God’s perfect timing, a true movement of repentance and restoration will begin in America which will bring genuine change to cities.
America will be filled with God’s glory if we pray and partner with Christ to see His kingdom come and His will be done on EARTH as it is in HEAVEN.
I can imagine Jesus lovingly shouting: “Rise up, CHURCH, and shine in the darkness. Pray fervently for change in America.”
Let’s pray more passionately than ever to see Christ’s will come forth for the United States.
On this National Day of Prayer, I feel led to share a prayer (video) I recorded in 2018. I prayed for America as I stood on a mountain while the sun was going down. I love how the wind was blowing as I was praying. Please pray along with me and trust our HEAVENLY FATHER to do mighty things in our country.
For many years, I’ve had a strong sense in my spirit that the Lord has been preparing His true followers to rise up and shine brightly during the years leading up to Christ’s return. For more than a decade, I’ve sensed that God would be releasing forerunners who have been walking through refining fires, surrendering to the sanctification process that’s necessary to live an abundant life in Christ.
The Bible says we are saints by calling, and we’re sanctified through the power of Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 1:2 (NASB) says: “To the church of God which is in Corinth, to those who have been sanctified in Christ Jesus, saints by calling, with all who in every place call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours.”
The refinement process is not about being perfect. Sanctification is about depending on Christ to fill us with His righteousness. It’s about examining our hearts daily and allowing Christ to remove sin from our lives. God knows we will mess up every single day, but Christ’s amazing grace beckons us to keep allowing Him to purify us. There’s a never-ending journey of refinement when we choose to give our lives to Christ.
In 2012, I wrote the following words (in quotation marks) as I was praying on my patio and pondering what I thought Jesus would want to speak to His beloved saints. The words are inspired by the scriptures that I’ve hidden in my heart. Even though I wrote this nine years ago, I believe God wanted me to wait to share these words on my blog for the season we’re in now. This is for the ones who have truly walked with Christ and known Him as the REFINER.
“Enough is enough. Never again will the enemy rob from those who live righteously. I know the battles have been relentless, but let your heart rest in knowing that the glory of My present house is much greater than the glory of the former house. Now I am keeping watch because you have sought Me; you have let me sit as a refiner and purifier of your hearts. Rejoice! For the time has come for the forerunners to be released. It is time for you to come forth and let My GLORY be seen in your lives. You have stood the tests of refinement. You have let Me be the ruler of your life, so now I will promote you. The religious mockers will be brought down unless they humbly repent and turn fully to Me. Works of the flesh will no longer rule in the church. My true followers will rise up and shine. The truth will prevail. The intercessors that have been on their faces behind closed doors will come out of hiding and have a voice for the kingdom of God. It is time for the faithful ones to be listened to. I will open doors and give platforms to those who humbly wait on Me and My timing. Rise up, all of you who have been called by Me to do great and mighty things for My kingdom. Rise up, and look not at the enemy. I have surrounded you with a wall of fire. I will protect you and your families as you live in My Spirit. Never again will an oppressor overrun your life, for I am the keeper of your house. Where I am—there can be no darkness. Dance upon injustice and worship Me until I return. Fight for those who are still being overrun by the enemy. I love you, My beloved ones, with an everlasting love. I will be your rear guard now and until the end of time.”
Christ has confirmed to me in other ways that He has been beckoning THE TRUE CHURCH to arise. In 2011, I felt led to paint an image I saw in my mind. This painting is very simplistic, but I believe it has a prophetic message. Years ago, I showed the painting to a friend and asked her to help me interpret the meaning. She believes this painting is symbolic of the bride of Christ rising up. I pondered her words and agreed with what she said. Also, I believe the green is symbolic of Christ’s bride coming fully alive after being beaten down for so long.

LORD,
Thank You for Your never-ending grace and love. Thank You for refining us and filling us with Your Holy Spirit. Thank You for girding us with the breastplate of righteousness so that we can resist the enemy. I am in awe of how You carry us through every hard battle and make us stronger each time we face spiritual warfare. Your beloved ones are ready to see Your kingdom come on the earth as it is in HEAVEN. Strengthen us and help us step fully into the callings You have prepared for each one of us. Surround us with a wall of protection and let us rise up fully. Help us to live by faith continually and pray boldly each day. Help us to be mighty carriers of the gospel message and conduits of Your love to a broken world. Let Your glory rise upon us so brightly that many people will run to You and be saved. I pray in Christ’s name. Amen.
Today is the NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER in America. The theme for the year is: “Lord, pour out Your love, life, and liberty.” As I was pondering the theme of this year, I remembered some words I had written in 2013 about how important it is to be filled with God’s love. The Lord gave me a revelation about the importance of walking in His love during the end times. It was a powerful and life-changing revelation for me, so I sense Christ leading me to share these words.
I heard the Lord say how critical it is to live in His love. Those who are not living and walking in His love continually are going to feel defeated. The words in quotation marks are what I wrote during my prayer time about eight years ago.
During these perilous times while the enemy is wreaking havoc on people, you will be safe if you remain in My love. Remain in My love and you will see miracle after miracle. It is My love that releases My power in your lives. As you walk in My love, you will be empowered to do great things on the earth. While the world gives way to darkness, you will rise up and shine brightly because of My unconditional love exuding from within you. Make it your highest priority to grow in My love daily. The love you show toward one another will be what draws lost souls into the kingdom of God. It is critical that you live in My love every day until the end of the age. My love will be the defining factor that separates the wheat from the tares and will produce a harvest of pure souls ready for my second coming. Those who are not grounded in My love will fall away from their faith. Ask Me daily to fill your heart to overflowing with My love. Meditate on the scriptures in 1 Corinthians 13 and always remember that My love never fails.”
During those moments of hearing Christ whispering to my heart, I realized that one of our most effective ways to overcome darkness is to walk in Christ’s love continually. I had never thought of love as a way to fight our spiritual battles until the Lord said those words to me. At that time, I realized how vulnerable we are to spiritual warfare when we step out of Christ’s love toward others.
There can be no darkness where there is love. God is love. His light will always remain in us as long as we remain in His love. I believe that loving Christ and sharing Christ’s love with others are our greatest purposes for being on the earth.
As we pray for the Lord to pour out love, life, and liberty, let’s ask Him to make us vessels of His love every day. While walking in God’s love, we will bring true liberty and life to our country.
LORD,
Thank You for Your everlasting love for us. Our world is in desperate need of Your love. Please pour our Your love on us today and every day. Help us to lead others to Your saving grace and show them that true life is found in Christ alone. Bring liberty to the ones who are oppressed and set countless people free as they look to You. Use us as mighty vessels of Your love to bring change to our country and ultimately in our world. I pray in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

“We need a JESUS REVOLUTION!” I sank into my chair with a timid feeling after I shouted those words while hundreds of young people were singing a worship song at Passion City Church (Atlanta, Georgia). I will never forget that night in the summer of 2011. Up until that point, I had not ever shouted as passionately during church, so I was embarrassed, until Pastor Louie Giglio began preaching a sermon about the necessity for believers in Christ to be filled with zeal and passion. My embarrassment lifted immediately as I listened to the sermon about zealously living for Christ, and I knew that my urge to shout had been prompted by the Holy Spirit.
Two years before that night, I attended a worship service at Passion City Church for the first time. In 2009, as a middle-age woman, I sat in a sea of college students, and I was fixated on one word: “REVIVAL.” With my spiritual eyes, I could see the beginning of a true spiritual awakening. In the following years, I had a dream in my sleep about a great revival, and it confirmed to me that what I had been sensing was truly from God.
Around the same time period, I was reading about Pentecost in the Bible. I began to envision a true movement of God similar to the stories in the book of Acts. I envisioned people getting healed of diseases, the blind getting their vision back, and chains of addiction being broken. Most importantly, I envisioned people weeping in repentance.
As the years passed by, the seeds of revival increased as the PASSION CONFERENCES took place each year with thousands of young people meeting together. Multitudes of these youthful ones were touched by Jesus, and I believe these gatherings helped ignite a movement that has led to the beginning of a great spiritual awakening.
With more than a decade of watching God move, I’ve prayed passionately for an unprecedented great awakening to be ignited—a Jesus movement that will impact the world by bringing forth a harvest of saved souls. For years, I’ve prayed that the greatest movement of the Holy Spirit we’ve ever seen would begin and spread like wildfire throughout the U.S. and spread to all the nations of the world.
This week, as I’ve been pondering the significance of Pentecost, I suddenly remembered a vision I had in 2010. A decade ago, I had envisioned our HEAVENLY FATHER in His glorious splendor with white hair, standing above a beautiful river with a dam above it. In my spirit, I heard these words: “The dam is about to break.” At the time, I wrote the words in my journal and I shared about my vision with my husband. I sensed that what I had envisioned was a symbol of the mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit that would be taking place in the future.
Year after year, I have longed to see an unmatched outpouring of the Holy Spirit. For many years, I have thought it would happen on Pentecost Sunday.
Here’s a prayer I wrote on May 24, 2018.
Jesus,
Thank You for pouring out Your Holy Spirit upon our nation. I ask You to release a move of Your Spirit across this nation like we have never seen before. Remove all the hindrances and open up the floodgates of heaven. Let every false prophet repent or let them be taken out of leadership. Bring forth countless new leaders to lead the body of Christ. Let Your Spirit rule and reign in the churches of America. Let stadiums be filled up with Your glory and let millions of souls be saved. Let Pentecost season of 2018 and 2019 far exceed what we read about in the book of Acts. Thank You, Jesus. I pray in Your name, Christ. Amen.
A few days after I remembered the vision, I heard the Lord clearly say: “The dam will break on Pentecost Sunday.” When a dam breaks, it floods everywhere in the vicinity and the water rushes all throughout the land powerfully. The dam breaking means that God’s Spirit will be poured out like it never has been poured out any time before.
I believe that’s what will begin happening on Pentecost Sunday and it will continue to intensify throughout the Pentecost season and keep intensifying until Christ returns to the earth. The Spirit of God will be poured out in such a significant way that it will be like a blast of dynamite being ignited. The church will never be the same.
This outpouring will spark a Jesus movement like we’ve never seen before. Those ready to receive more of the Holy Spirit will be empowered to do great things for Christ. The ones who are too busy with earthly endeavors will possibly miss what’s coming. Those who are trapped in sin need to repent to be able to experience this glorious outpouring.
There will be naysayers who will say this is not from God, but in due time they will see that this is genuinely the outpouring that the prophet of the Bible, Joel, prophesied (Joel 2:28-32).
We are a truly blessed generation.
Let’s pray more passionately than ever before and trust Christ to bring forth a JESUS REVOLUTION that will begin changing our broken world.
Dear Heavenly Father,
I am in absolute awe of You. Thank You for hearing our prayers and pouring out Your Spirit upon the earth. I ask You to ignite a Jesus revolution this Pentecost Sunday that will begin to break the chains of racism off of our cities and nations.
I ask You to wrap Your loving arms around the family of George Floyd and comfort all of the ones who are mourning his needless death. I ask You to awaken us fully with Your love and let us have strong voices against the wicked injustices in our communities. I ask You to bring peace to the areas in our world that are experiencing civil unrest. I ask You to stop the violence that’s happening in America currently. Bring peace among the races and let us love one another with Your perfect love.
Empower us to do great things on the earth. Let each one of us be used mightily to bring forth the gospel message of Jesus Christ. Let us be peacemakers and help us to bring change to the world until the day of Christ’s return. I pray in Christ’s name. Amen.

I was awakened yesterday morning with a feeling of excitement for the biblical prophetic times we’re living in. Immediately after I opened my eyes, I thought, “These are exciting days!” Then the lyrics to a song flooded into my heart. “These are the days of Elijah, declaring the word of the Lord. And these are the days of Your servant Moses, righteousness being restored.” Before my feet were on the floor, I sensed the Lord nudging me to share a prophetic dream I had in 2011.
In July of 2011, I had a dream while sleeping and I knew it was pertinent for the Church of Jesus Christ. Shortly after that, I wrote the details of the dream and recorded the words the Lord was saying about the dream.
In the beginning of my dream, I was sitting next to my husband in a church service. We were away from our hometown and visiting a church. The preacher was a prominent man of God and he began singing a beautiful song by Nat King Cole. He was singing the words, “That’s why it’s incrediblethat someone so unforgettable thinks that I am unforgettable, too.” My husband began weeping while the preacher was singing these words. I glanced at him and noticed that a young man in his early twenties to his left was beginning to weep. Then almost simultaneously, an older gentleman to the left of the young man was weeping, too. It was obvious to me that the older man was the father of the younger man. I had never seen anything like this in church before. My husband and the father and son were all three leaning on each other, weeping tears, and very overcome by the Spirit. I lifted my hands toward HEAVEN and began to worship the Lord. I felt the anointing power of God like I had never experienced before. I heard clearly in my spirit these words from God: “I am pouring out a father anointing.” As I stood there in awe, the words from Malachi 4:6 dropped into my spirit: “He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers…” The dream ended abruptly after I heard those words from the book of Malachi.
Immediately, I was awakened from my sleep and I was compelled to share the dream with my husband, Michael. He was already awake, so I walked into the other room to find him. Tears welled up in his eyes as I shared the details of the dream. I told Michael I believed the father anointing in my dream is going to be what God uses to propel the great spiritual awakening that would ultimately lead to the greatest harvest of souls we’ve ever known in the history of the Church.
As Michael listened to my words, he had an epiphany of words to share with me. He began speaking powerfully about the need of a father anointing to be released.
On that July day nearly seven years ago, Michael said: “I believe a need for a true father will be what nudges people to turn to the Lord. Since World War II, the family has been under extreme attack—especially the men and fathers. Because of all the men that were lost, a void has been in the lives of many people. Hundreds of thousands of fathers died in the war around the world. Also, since WWII, the industrial age has taken fathers away from the family. Dads used to work on farms, close to home. Since the 1960s, the media has downgraded the role of the father. Fatherhood is what this generation lacks more than anything else. More than fifty percent of couples end up divorced, leaving many children without a father in their lives. What is this generation lacking? They are lacking the love of a father. They have a desire for a God that would be their FATHER.”
Michael’s words were eloquent and powerful. Our generation does, indeed, need the love of their HEAVENLY FATHER.
The father anointing (Elijah anointing) is the same anointing that we read about in the book of Luke. Luke shared the story of when John the Baptist was in his mother’s womb about to be born. This anointing will be what ushers in the second coming of Christ, just as Luke describes this anointing that was preparing the way of our Lord’s birth.
Luke 1:11-17 says, “Then an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing at the right side of the altar of incense. When Zechariah saw him, he was startled and was gripped with fear. But the angel said to him: ‘Do not be afraid, Zechariah; your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you are to call him John. He will be a joy and delight to you, and many will rejoice because of his birth, for he will be great in the sight of the Lord. He is never to take wine or other fermented drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit even before he is born. He will bring back many of the people of Israel to the Lord their God. And he will go on before the Lord, in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the parents to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous—to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”
In my dream, I believe the prominent man of God symbolized a spiritual father who was communicating God’s unfailing love by singing the love song by Nat King Cole. When he began singing, my husband began to weep as a result of a revelation of God’s love and he was receiving a deep inner healing from a wound inflicted by his earthly father. The father and son sitting next to him began weeping because they were experiencing the release of the father anointing and as a result, healing began in their relationship.
The fact that we were away from home, visiting a church in the dream, symbolized that the Lord will pour out this anointing in unusual ways, not through the traditional ways we would normally expect.
Today, the movie “I Can Only Imagine” is being released. I believe it is being released strategically on 3/16 as a symbol of John 3:16. The entire world desperately needs to know that God so loved the world that He gave His only son so that people would not have to perish and can have everlasting life by believing in Him for salvation.
I have not seen the movie, but I watched the trailer and discovered it’s about a father and son. It’s a powerful story of forgiveness and redemption experienced through the unconditional love of Christ.
I feel in my spirit there is something very crucial about fathers and sons and daughters reconciling. I see a connection between the reconciling of father/child relationships being the catalyst for releasing great power and the Elijah (father) anointing.
Perhaps the release of this movie is a sign that God will begin turning the hearts of the children to their fathers and the hearts of the fathers to their children. The prophet, Malachi, revealed that God would send the spirit of Elijah before the Lord returns or else our land will be cursed.
“See, I will send you the prophet Elijah before that great and dreadful day of the Lord comes. He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers; or else I will come and strike the land with a curse.” Malachi 4:5-6
We are in a very critical season, and the CHURCH needs to pray for a father anointing to be released now. The hurting young people in our nation desperately need to be told they are loved and cherished as sons and daughters of God.
Let’s pray that millions of people will trust God and experience His fatherly love.
As we pray, I believe the spiritual awakening will begin intensifying greatly. Out of this father anointing, I believe countless spiritual fathers will rise up to minister to the younger generations. The spiritual fathers will point them to God as their HEAVENLY FATHER, and help them forgive their earthly fathers for their transgressions.
I believe with all my heart that the second coming of Christ is closer than we realize, and it’s time to begin preparing the way of the Lord.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your perfect love and grace that You have given us through Your son, Jesus Christ. Thank You that we are living in the most exciting time known to mankind. Please draw men and women into Your fatherly arms. Heal their hearts and souls during the coming days, months, and years. Release the father anointing and prepare the body of Christ to minister to people wherever we get the opportunity in our communities. I trust You to bring forth miracles in unfathomable ways and I stand in awe of what You are doing on the earth. Let us rise up as spiritual fathers and mothers and be used mightily to assist You in bringing countless souls into Your kingdom. Thank You, Father. I pray in Christ’s name.
