Easter is my favorite holiday because nothing compares to the glory of Christ’s resurrection. Today, I’m soaking up the beauty of the springtime flowers and pondering how grateful I am for the cross of Christ.
With overwhelming gratitude, I feel like climbing to the top of the mountain where I live and shouting, “JESUS IS ALIVE!” I’m not sure if I will shout from the mountaintop, but I will always shout praises to Jesus during times of worship at home and gatherings with other believers.
Without the resurrection of Christ, we would be bound to spiritual death. Because of Christ’s resurrection, we are given new life and awakened spiritually by the same power that raised Jesus back to life. The resurrection of Christ is what empowers us to live fully alive and remain spiritually awake every day.
There is nothing more exciting than being fully alive and awakened by the Spirit of God. My prayer is that countless people will experience awakening and new life in Christ today.
LORD,
Thank You for dying on the cross so that we may have eternal life and live free from sin. Thank You for awakening us with Your resurrection power and giving us new life in You. Renew our spirits and help us live every moment fully awakened in Christ. Help us live a life of repentance and let us turn away from the things that deaden our spirit. Fill us with more of Your Holy Spirit so that our soul will stay fully awakened and let us soar like the wings of eagles eternally.
Bring hope and life to countless people today. Let the greatest spiritual awakening known to mankind come forth during the days ahead. We await Your second coming with excitement and joy. Thank You, Jesus. Amen.

Many years ago, I began feeling very burdened in my spirit for America and the direction it was heading. I sensed the only answer to our problems would be a great movement of God—a true revival and spiritual awakening in the lives of multitudes of people. In 2010 as I was praying, I began to envision a map of the United States with flames around it and bright light coming out of it. As I envisioned the flames of fire around the map of America, I sensed great difficulties were coming to our nation. Along with the coming trials, I believe the flames in my vision were a symbol of the Holy Spirit consuming millions of souls and drawing them into the kingdom of God.
While I envisioned bright light coming out of America, I realized the image in my mind symbolized the church in the fullness of Christ’s light.
After I sought the Lord in that season, I began sensing that the U.S. is called to be the light of the world.
The thought of our country being the light of the world brought so much excitement to my soul. It gave me a fiery passion to pray for an outpouring of God’s Spirit that would change the atmosphere of America and ultimately impact the world with Christ’s glory and light.
I believe wholeheartedly that God will pour out His Spirit in a greater way than ever before. I believe there is a remnant of God’s people who are fully prepared for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and they will be used to release the glory of God into the earth realm. However, the believers in Christ who have not fully yielded to Him will be undergoing more refinement. The Lord will sit as a refiner and purifier of His CHURCH so that she will be filled with His righteousness (Malachi 3:3). In God’s perfect timing, a true movement of repentance and restoration will begin in America which will bring genuine change to cities.
America will be filled with God’s glory if we pray and partner with Christ to see His kingdom come and His will be done on EARTH as it is in HEAVEN.
I can imagine Jesus lovingly shouting: “Rise up, CHURCH, and shine in the darkness. Pray fervently for change in America.”
Let’s pray more passionately than ever to see Christ’s will come forth for the United States.
On this National Day of Prayer, I feel led to share a prayer (video) I recorded in 2018. I prayed for America as I stood on a mountain while the sun was going down. I love how the wind was blowing as I was praying. Please pray along with me and trust our HEAVENLY FATHER to do mighty things in our country.
On this Pentecost Sunday, I am filled with awe of Christ and praying for a great move of the Holy Spirit that will bring permanent change for the youth of our world.
Christ is truly the hope for our country and world. Evil can only be overcome with the truth and power of Christ’s love. With a heart filled with faith, I’m continuing to cry out to God for an unprecedented outpouring of His Spirit.
In the Bible verse, Acts 2:17, it says: “In the last days,God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people; your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.”
For many years, I’ve prayed passionately for the Lord to pour out His Spirit upon our cities. On this Pentecost Sunday and in the coming days, I believe the Spirit of God will be poured out in such a significant way that it will be like a blast of dynamite being ignited. The church will never be the same.
I believe this outpouring will spark a Jesus movement like we’ve never seen before. Those ready to receive more of the Holy Spirit will be empowered to do great things for Christ. The ones who are too busy with earthly endeavors will possibly miss what’s coming. There will be naysayers who will say this is not from God, but in due time they will see that this outpouring is genuinely God’s movement to show His power and love to people all over the world.
We are a very blessed generation to be alive when God is rocking the world with the greatest revival in the history of mankind.
Let’s pray more fervently than ever before and trust Christ to bring forth a JESUS REVOLUTION that will begin changing our broken world.
Dear Heavenly Father,
I am in absolute awe of You. Thank You for hearing our prayers and pouring out Your Spirit upon the earth. I trust You to ignite a JESUS REVOLUTION this Pentecost Sunday that will begin to break the chains of hatred and evil off of our cities.
I am asking You to wrap Your loving arms around the ones who lost their beloved family members in recent tragedies. Comfort their hurting hearts and carry them through the painful moments of grief. Bring healing to their souls in the days ahead.
Awaken the CHURCH fully and help us pray more fervently than ever before. Bring forth the most powerful prayer movement among mothers to pray for the youth of the world to be saved.
Help believers in Christ to be unified and have strong voices against the wicked injustices in our communities. Bring peace to the areas in our world that are experiencing civil unrest. Stop the violence that’s happening in America currently. Bring unity among the people in our communities and let us love one another with Your perfect love.
Empower us with a greater measure of Your Spirit and help us do great things on the earth all the days of our lives. Baptize us in the Holy Spirit and let each one of us be used mightily to share the gospel message of Jesus Christ. Let us be peacemakers and help us bring change to the world until the day of Christ’s return. I pray in Christ’s name. Amen.
May you have a blessed Pentecost season and may your heart be open to receive all that Christ has for you. I pray that you will be filled with the Holy Ghost and be a world-changer in the coming days.

This post is a revised piece that I wrote and posted previously.
Sometimes a person can be sleeping so soundly that it seems nearly impossible to wake them up. During my son’s teen years, he was not easily awakened in the morning. As I tried to wake him by gently tapping on his shoulder, he would grunt and then fall back to sleep. After trying to gently awaken him several times without success, I would bring our very energetic dog, Zoe, into my son’s room. With Zoe jumping on my son’s bed and licking his face, he was abruptly awakened unexpectedly. The memory of waking my son from his deep slumber reminds me of the difficulty of awakening the people who are spiritually asleep.
I believe that there has never been a more important time than now for God’s people to be fully awake. The CHURCH is beginning to arise. However, there are many believers in Christ who are not fully awakened. Many are still living without a sense of urgency for the need of persistent prayer.
We are living in desperate times that require desperate prayers. We don’t need to be afraid. But we need to be alert and fully awake so that we’re prepared for the coming changes in the world. Otherwise, we may become awakened abruptly and quickly in an uncomfortable way.
As I wrote in a previous post, the Lord spoke words to my heart about the future changes. I heard these words in my heart: “Human systems are being broken down so that kingdom systems can be built.” In other words, God is tearing down the systems that are not of His kingdom. As I pondered those words, I thought about the disappointment of people that have placed their hope in the systems built by men. The upcoming days, months, and years will be very disappointing for people who are not spiritually awake and surrendered fully to Christ.
There are signs revealing that Christ’s return could possibly be within a few years. It’s time to shine Christ’s light brighter than ever. It’s time to partner with Christ to help bring a multitude of souls into His kingdom. It’s time to pray with fervency like never before.
Jesus is coming back. Are you ready?
LORD,
Thank You for loving us perfectly. Thank You for pouring out Your Spirit and filling our nation with Your glory. We come to You and humbly repent of the sins that hinder us from doing Your will for our lives. Wake us up from our spiritual slumber and help us live every moment fully awakened in Christ. Awaken us completely and help us keep our eyes continually focused upon You. Help us take our eyes off of the trivial things of this world and let us do the work You’ve called us to do while on the earth. Use us to lead people to Your saving grace and use us to bring hope to people in desperate need. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

In Matthew 3:11, we are told that John the Baptist was preaching a message and saying: “As for me, I baptize you with water for repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, and I am not fit to remove His sandals; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.” Just as I envisioned the flames of fire around the map of America, I imagined the flames of the Holy Spirit consuming millions of souls and drawing them into the kingdom of God.
I wrote the following prayer in June, 2011. I want to share it again and hope you all will join me in praying passionately for the greatest outpouring of the Holy Spirit the world has ever seen.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your unfailing love, for the way You continually pour out Your mercy and grace. Thank You for what You are doing in the body of Christ. Oh how beautiful it is. I feel it in my spirit: REVIVAL is about to break out in a huge way in the body of believers in our nation. Keep pouring Your Spirit into the hearts of countless people. We (the body of Christ) want more of You. We want You to work in and through us in unimaginable ways. We want thousands upon thousands to be saved in our cities due to the massive outpouring of Your Spirit. We are waiting for You with great expectation to do mighty things in our nation and in our world.
I have visions of people falling at Your feet, weeping in repentance, craving Your love, wanting more of Your Holy Spirit. Please show the world who You are. Show every hurting person Your radical love. Speak to the hearts of all the people who call You, “LORD.” Let every believer know You deeply and intimately. Raise us up to be the church You want for us to be. Make us ready for Christ’s return, without a blemish or stain. Let us be a church who loves You wholeheartedly and loves each other perfectly. Let each follower of You be so focused on You that we would not look to each other, but only to You. Let Your perfect unity and love rule in the hearts of all Your followers. We are ready to see You do great and marvelous things in our cities. We love You with all our strength and we pray in Christ’s name. Amen.
